Call for Papers for the 13th IAVE Asia-Pacific Regional Volunteer Conference, October 2011, Korea

The 13th IAVE Asia-Pacific Regional Volunteer Conference (Korea) seeks presenters who will avail themselves of rich experiences and knowledge of volunteering efforts. We appreciate and cherish your ideas and passions for volunteering and better world, and strongly encourage your participation as a presenter.
The conference will take place on 28-31 October 2011, at CECO, in Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea. Applications for presentations open on May 12 and close on June 31. There are a total of 36 workshop sessions available in four tracks over the two days of the conference. The tracks are: (1) volunteering and climate changes, (2) volunteering and poverty, (3) volunteering and conflict, (4) volunteering and natural disaster. In addition, there will be special topics on corporate volunteering, volunteer management, volunteer centers, and the definition of volunteerism.
