IAVE Annual Report 2005-06
This has also been a year of consolidation of earlier progress. Membership is still increasing slowly but steadily, helped by regular communication with members through e-IAVE. The information service through the International Resource Centre (IRC) has been at the core of the website expansion. Partnership working is still a key factor for success in areas of policy and practice, especially at world level in the context of the United Nations and the drive towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). At Board level, the strategic plan for 2002-06 continued to provide the framework for development. The new plan for 2007-10 was finalised at the Board meeting in New Delhi for publication in 2007.
