GOAL ONE

: TO POSITION IAVE AS A LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATION FOR VOLUNTEERING WORLDWIDE
1.1   IAVE Conferences
  1.1.1 Maximize impact of successful 18th IAVE World Volunteering Conference-Barcelona August 2004
  1.1.2 Planning for 2006 World Conference
  1.1.3 Planning for 2005 Regional Conferences
1.2   Establish connections with key international and global organizations and institutions
  1.2.1 Development of Strategic Partnerships
  1.2.2 Extend emerging working relationships
  1.2.3 Seek out new contacts
1.3   Engage IAVE members in run-up to UN2005 General Assembly
1.4   Representation of volunteering interests in world forums

: TO DEVELOP AND SUSTAIN GLOBAL NETWORKS AND ISSUE BASED ACTIVITIES
2.1 Youth Volunteering
2.2 Corporate Volunteering
2.3 Global network of Volunteer Centers
GOAL THREE

: TO DEVELOP A GLOBAL MEMBERSHIP THAT REFLECTS THE BREADTH AND DIVERSITY OF VOLUNTEERING
3.1 Establish new IAVE International Resource Centre (IRC) (Start up funding in place; two-year follow up funding agreed in principle, subject to securing match-funding)
3.2 Establish new small research studies in Africa, as a first tool for better understanding of volunteering in developing countries and how best to support its development (Funding secured from corporate donor)
3.3 Website development
