Memorandum of Understanding between CIVICUS, IAVE and UNV
This MOU between CIVICUS, IAVE and UNV represents an important opportunity to further the impact of volunteerism throughout the world. It is mutually acknowledged that CIVICUS, IAVE and UNV have distinct, yet complementary missions; that each organization makes an important contribution to volunteering; and that each organization can benefit from working together. Identification of key areas of collaboration plus ongoing regular communication between the organizations are recognized as critical toward building and maintaining an effective working relationship for the ultimate benefit of those we serve. One key area of collaboration is to demonstrate the indispensable role of voluntary action and volunteers in achieving the MDGs.
