Report on IAVE European Region November 2006

Since my election (may 2005) as IAVE regional representative

1)  I got in touch with all the European IAVE members to urge them to attend the World Conference , by sending them 3 circular letters giving them all informations needed 

2)  I asked Marijke STEENBERGEN (vice president of CEV )and Markus HELD (director of CEV) to lead then European regional meeting at New Delh

3)  I have facilitated the attendance of 4 french speaking Africans who will lead 3 worshops and a forum

4)  I got a grant from the Agence Internationale de la Francophonie 

5)  We have undertaken all the translations in French for the IAVE website and  of the E-IAVE News

6)  As a member of the Selection Committee for the  next 2008 IAVE World Conference I participated to the study of the bids and to the vote.

7)  I have begun to prepare the IAVE Regional European meeting which will take place in Paris on March 2007
