Volunteer Centers in Cooperation with Government from 17th IAVE World Conference

Presentations made at a Workshop 1 at the 17th IAVE Conference on "Volunteer Centers in Cooperation with Government Address Social Development and Volunteerism" In the last decade volunteering has become one of the most popular themes in and around the Latin American continent.

 

In this session, participants will be able to learn strategies and results in public-private agreements. CEBOFIL Bolivia,will showcase its experience as the leading national volunteer center and how it has cooperated with the First Lady’s
Office to engage civil society and volunteers in becoming problem solvers and playing an important role in social development in the country. Participants will also learn about similar programs in Brazil and Uruguay.
