The IAVE Youth Office joins the International Training Course ‘High Tech’
Last August 1-8, 2009, the IAVE Youth Office networking officer Meghann Villanueva led the Training Course “High Tech Communication Tools” in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona, organised by the youth association Barcelona Voluntaria.
20 young leaders, youth workers and volunteers from Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldavia, Poland, Estonia, Romania, Portugal, Italy, Spain learn how NGOs can take adventage of new tecnologies to spread their voice and communicate more efficiently with their members, volunteers and international partners and how to approach a larger audience.
Networking Officer was able to share about Online Social Networking platforms, and how they are used by organisations, specifically in the context of the IAVE Youth Office, “where we are using those tools, like facebook, to promote youth volunteering all across the world”.
This Course was organised in partnership with 11 European and Eastern European organisations, thanks to the support of the Youth in Action Program of the European Comission and the Spanish National Agency
