Who Should Attend

The conference is expected to bring together stakeholders and actors from volunteering organizations, government officials, NGOs, the private sector, civil society and participants from other countries throughout Africa. Participant space is limited.

Most specifically, the conference will seek participation from:

  • National and international volunteering organizations: V-NET Rwanda, Red Cross, Girls Guide, Scouts, STRIVE FOUNDATION, YWCA, UNV, VSO, KOICA, JICA, Peace Corps
  • Development partners and donors institutions: USAID, DFID, CIDA, UN agencies
  • Relevant government bodies: Ministry of Local Government, social and community development MINALOC, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Youth, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, National Unity and Reconciliation Commission, Public Labour Commission, Prime Minister office
