Biography

Alyson Genovese is a seasoned leader in corporate responsibility, volunteering, and social impact, with nearly 30 years of experience spanning nonprofit, corporate, and global contexts. She most recently served as Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Responsibility at S&P Global, where she led global philanthropy and employee engagement efforts across 44 countries and helped significantly expand participation in both skills-based and traditional volunteer programs. Her career reflects a consistent focus on strengthening communities and advancing systemic change through cross-sector collaboration, including previous leadership roles at the Global Reporting Initiative and earlier work supporting volunteer infrastructure at Points of Light Foundation.

Alyson brings deep governance and advisory experience, having served as a board member and board chair for New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility, as well as contributing to multiple advisory committees. Her early service as a full-time volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, along with her leadership in corporate volunteer programs at organizations such as Comcast, reflects her long-standing commitment to civic engagement. Known for her collaborative and results-oriented approach, she has worked with organizations of all sizes to design and scale impactful volunteer initiatives, and continues to be a strong advocate for leveraging volunteering as a driver of social and environmental progress.
