Biography

Christoph Selig has led DHL Group’s global corporate citizenship portfolio since 2020. He studied Geography and Social Sciences in Bonn and Dublin and holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship.

With nearly 30 years of experience at the intersection of politics, business, and civil society, Christoph began his career in the German Bundestag and the Federal Foreign Office before joining DHL Group as a lobbyist in 2001. He moved to corporate headquarters in 2009 to focus on education initiatives, and in 2024, DHL Group was recognized as a pioneer among DAX companies for its social engagement.

Beyond his corporate role, Christoph serves as a trustee of the DHL UK Foundation, a member of Save the Children Germany e.V., and founding chairman of We Help Each Other e.V. He speaks regularly on Corporate Citizenship and corporate responsibility in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2024 and 2025, he was part of the German delegation at the UN High-Level Political Forum in New York.
