Humanitarian Aid: The Role of Skilled and Specialist Volunteers

The 4th and final part of IAVE’s 4-part ‘Common Good – Creating a Sustainable Future through Volunteering’ series, the focus topic is ‘Humanitarian Aid: The Role of Skilled and Specialist Volunteers.’

In each session a presenter will set out what volunteering for the common good means to them, how it relates to creating a sustainable future through volunteering, and how volunteers contribute to tackling the challenges they face. We will focus on one or two of the UN’s SDGs, important to them, from either thier academic research and/or their community-based work. And, hear what they feel we need to do to create an environment that allows volunteering to flourish and have impact.
