Africa Regional Representative

Elizabeth, who holds a Doctorate and Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling, is a professional counsellor and a lecturer in one of Nigeria’s Federal Colleges of Education.  She also is an active volunteer for her community, her state and for IAVE Nigeria.  She first served on the IAVE board as Regional Representative for Africa from 2014 through 2017.

She served as the IAVE Nigeria youth president from 2001 to 2007, and actively involved the IAVE Youth members in Nigeria in community development projects, humanitarian activities that included helping the less privileged and destitute, and mentoring youth on career guidance, peer influence and good citizenship.  Currently, she is the IAVE Youth Coordinator managing activities which include health talks on issues like HIV/AIDS, water treatment awareness programs, hospice care and youth mentoring.

She also is a member of Alvan Volunteer Service at her college, bringing literacy to communities that lack basic and adequate educational provision and attention; organizing workshops/seminars for entrepreneurial skill development, debates and quiz competitions for schools within the state.
