Nuntinee Malanon, Asia-Pacific Regional Representative

Nuntinee (Amm) Malanon
Asia-Pacific Regional Representative

When Amm was studying in university, she led a national student movement in the tsunami recovery effort as well as the nonviolent movement for the deep-south conflict in Thailand.  She says, “Those firsthand experiences became sources of my inspiration and aspiration for my professional life ever since.”

Over the past 15 years she has served as the founding member of Volunteer Spirit Network, the first independent national platform to promote volunteering promotion; as co-founder and director of the first university volunteer center in Thailand at Thammasat University; and at the National Volunteer Center where she has been actively engaged in policy advocacy and implementation on the National Committee on Volunteering Promotion.

She has been involved with IAVE since 2009 and has presented at several IAVE conferences.  In 2019, under her leadership, the Volunteer Spirit Network hosted the IAVE Asia-Pacific Regional Volunteer Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
