Yvette is a passionate youth leadership enthusiast with an academic background in Nutrition and Food Science who has strategically transferred her skillset to the world of youth and volunteerism. She has 4+ years of active participation in youth development and empowerment; tackling the SDGs towards economic empowerment since joining AIESEC.
Through her work and activism, she led the implementation of projects on SDG awareness dubbed Youth 4 Global Goals by the UN to reach 2000+ students in Mwanza-Tanzania. By managing the partnership relations of organisations such as PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, Standard Chartered Bank, Kilimanjaro Aviation and Stanbic Bank, she supported initiatives to fund students in Tanzania have international student volunteer experiences.
Currently, she is the Regional Manager for Business Development for Middle East and Africa, managing partnerships and working with organisations that work with AIESEC. Prior to this, she served as the Country Director for AIESEC in Tanzania where she spearheaded several innovation and leadership initiatives targeted at youth capacity building and empowerment.
