15 teams are competing for three $25,000 prizes
Right now, 15 short-listed teams are competing in a global Ideathon about volunteering for the environment. On the line is a total of $75,000 in prize money to implement three winning ideas.
The “Volunteering for Sustainability” Ideathon is a partnership between IAVE and Emirates Foundation, the UAE Ministry of Climate Change & Environment, and Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, sponsored by General Motors.
Pitches from the competing teams are this Wednesday, 6 March, 16:00 UAE time (that’s 7:00 a.m. in New York). Judges will make their decisions and the three winners will be announced Wednesday at 18:15 UAE time (9:30 a.m. in New York).
