I am honored to present my candidacy to the IAVE Board of Directors as Regional Representative. With over 15 years of experience in corporate responsibility, social impact, and volunteering, I have dedicated my career to building bridges between sectors, people, and communities.
As Director of Sustainability and Corporate Social Impact at Fundación Hazloposible—one of Spain’s most recognized NGOs with 25 years of experience—I lead programs that mobilize thousands of volunteers through partnerships with national and international companies. These initiatives connect corporate strategies to social challenges, contributing to the SDGs through innovation and inclusive engagement.
Previously, I spent a decade leading the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy at The Walt Disney Company for Southern Europe and Africa. In this role, I managed large-scale community engagement programs and volunteering efforts across multiple countries, developing a strong cross-cultural and cross-sectoral perspective.
Beyond my organizational work, I am an active member of the European Volunteer Centre (CEV), and served on the Global Marketing Committee of Points of Light, supporting global outreach and advocacy for volunteering.
While I have not yet been part of IAVE’s governance, I have followed its work closely and fully align with its mission to elevate volunteering as a critical element of sustainable and inclusive development. I see great value in IAVE’s global platform and would be honored to contribute my experience, vision, and energy to its work.
As Regional Representative, I will prioritize connecting the voices of Southern Europe, fostering collaboration among public, private, and civil society actors, and amplifying innovative and diverse models of volunteering. My leadership style is collaborative, strategic, and action-oriented—qualities I believe are essential for the continued growth and impact of IAVE.
