Guillermo Correa, Board Chair

Guillermo is the Founder and Executive Director of the Argentine Network for International Cooperation (RACI), with more than 20 years of experience in civil society, democracy, and citizen participation. Having already served the board with distinction as a regional voice for Latin America, he is exceptionally well-positioned to lead IAVE’s global mission in the years ahead.
As we welcome new leadership, we are deeply grateful to those stepping down from the board. Ruth Lewin, our outgoing Board Chair, along with Matt Clausen, Diane Melley, Uchenna Ibebunjo, Mike Cheung, Cata Garcia and Isabel Salazar Paramos have each brought tremendous dedication and expertise to IAVE. Their contributions have strengthened our organization and the global volunteering movement in lasting ways. We thank them wholeheartedly for their service.
With this renewed Board of Directors, IAVE enters an exciting new chapter. We look forward to the work ahead — and to the volunteers, organizations, and communities around the world who inspire us every day. This is a moment of real momentum, and we invite you to be part of it.
